STEPHEN FLETCHER

Stephen has worked in the Performing Arts since 2002- graduating from LIPA (The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) with a First-Class BA Honours Degree in Acting. Since then he has worked extensively in Theatre, TV, Radio Drama and Voiceovers.

As a Director, he has staged a number of productions, including NHS THE MUSICAL for Theatre Royal Plymouth and numerous shows at Liverpool's Royal Court Theatre, as well as being an Artistic Advisor for The Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse Theatres, and Associate Director on A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM at The Lido2 in Paris, and THE HOOK in Atlantic City, US, for Spiegelworld- both alongside Cal McCrystal. 

He is a regular Director and Dramaturge for The Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool, and is also producer of the award-winning production company, "Life in Theatre Productions- creating new work, employing local talent, and entertaining thousands of people since 2012. 

As a performer he has appeared on TV and in numerous stage plays across the UK and the West End. He has worked alongside Phyllida Lloyd, Jamie Lloyd, Cal McCrystal, Peter Kosminsky, Willy Russell, Ian Talbot, Thelma Holt, Adrian Vinken and more. As a voiceover artist, he has worked for BBC Radio Drama department in Salford Quays/Media City, alongside Gary Young and Pauline Harris, and for Wireless Theatre Company. 

He has also one of the original members of The Old Vic New Voices Company, a voice of God for BAFTA, and has appeared on numerous commercial voiceovers and online learning courses. He has also appeared in a number of Audible radio plays and Audiobooks. 

He is a passionate advocate of the voiceover genre as it broadens the casting bracket for any performer, creates an entire world in people's imaginations and is a version of artistic expression unlike any other medium.
